1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small value stored by a website in your browser and returned with later requests. Browsers also provide storage such as localStorage, which remains on the device but is not automatically sent with every request. This policy covers both because each can remember a website choice.
The current VDD website uses one strictly necessary first-party cookie to remember your cookie decision and, only when you allow preferences, one first-party localStorage entry for your selected language. Both are controlled by VDD (Virtual Data & Dimension).

The contact form does not require a tracking cookie. Its submission makes a direct request to the VDD website so that the message can be validated and delivered to our contact mailbox.
3. Strictly necessary storage
Storage is treated as strictly necessary only where it is required to transmit a communication or provide a feature you expressly requested. The vdd_consent cookie has the limited purpose of applying and remembering your cookie decision, including a rejection. It is not reused for profiling, audience measurement or marketing.
Strictly necessary storage does not require consent under the applicable ePrivacy rule, but it remains disclosed here and is limited in purpose and duration.
4. Optional preferences and consent
Language memory is optional. It remains off unless you allow preferences through the cookie panel. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent you from using the website or manually changing language; it only means the selection is not used to redirect a later visit automatically.
- Optional storage is off by default.
- Accept and reject controls are available at the same level and require one action.
- No optional box is preselected and continuing to browse is not treated as consent.
- Consent is specific to the optional preference described in this policy.
- A changed purpose would require updated information and, where required, a new choice before use.
5. No analytics, advertising or embedded trackers
vddtech.io does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, behavioural profiling, social-media trackers or third-party media embeds. Rejecting optional cookies therefore does not remove content or core functionality.
If VDD later introduces another non-essential purpose, it will remain blocked until the required choice has been obtained, and this inventory and the consent panel will be updated before use.
6. Change or withdraw your choice
Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page to reopen the panel. You can reject optional storage or save a new preference at any time. Withdrawing preference consent stops use of the stored language choice and removes that optional value from the VDD site storage available to the page.
You may also delete cookies and localStorage through your browser settings. If you delete vdd_consent, the website will ask for your choice again. Browser controls vary by product, so consult your browser help for device-specific instructions.
7. External services you choose to open
The WhatsApp contact option is an ordinary external link, not an embedded widget. No WhatsApp cookie or request is initiated merely by loading a VDD page. If you click the link, your browser opens an external service that may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy information and settings.
8. Technical logs are not cookies
The hosting infrastructure may generate technical request, security and error logs when serving a page or receiving the contact form. These server-side records are not cookies and are not used by VDD for advertising or behavioural analytics. Their processing and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Updates and contact
We review this inventory when the website changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Questions about cookies or browser storage can be sent to VDD (Virtual Data & Dimension) at contact@vddtech.io.
